They also provide a platform for interaction with public health professionals, researchers, and visiting experts.
Computer Laboratory
The computer laboratory provides students with access to internet-enabled workstations and software required for biostatistics, epidemiology, data management, and scientific research. The facility supports coursework, statistical analysis, literature searches, report writing, and research projects throughout the programme.

The facility offers uninterrupted access throughout the year, enabling students to study at their convenience and supporting the academic requirements of the MPH programme.
Live Research Engagement
The College also provides opportunities to participate in ongoing longitudinal cohorts,
including the REACH (Rural Effective Affordable Comprehensive Healthcare) cohort,
along with several national and international research projects. This exposure enables
students to work alongside experienced public health professionals and researchers
while applying classroom concepts to real-world public health challenges.
Students gain practical experience through affiliated rural and peri-urban field practice
areas, primary healthcare centres, community health programmes, and partner
organisations. These field training sites provide opportunities to understand and apply
classroom knowledge in real-world public health settings while developing essential
professional competencies.

Institutional Backbone:The College is housed within the Mediciti Institute of Medical Sciences, a 25-year-old
tertiary care teaching hospital, and is closely associated with SHARE INDIA, a 40-year-
old not-for-profit research organisation with a strong track record in public health
research, implementation science, and community-based health programmes.
Learning in the Field
Students receive hands-on training across rural and peri-urban communities in
Medchal-Malkajgiri district through established field practice areas, primary health
centres, and community outreach programmes. They gain experience in population-
based surveys, disease surveillance, health systems research, programme
implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and community engagement.
